Achieve Clearer Vision with Advanced Surgical Solutions
Premium Cataract Surgery
Premium Cataract Surgery involves the removal of the eye’s cloudy natural lens (caused by cataracts) and its replacement with an advanced artificial intraocular lens designed to correct vision at multiple distances. This modern approach to cataract surgery not only addresses the cataracts but also significantly reduces or eliminates the need for eyeglasses or contact lenses after surgery.
LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis)
LASIK is a popular laser eye surgery designed to correct vision in people who are nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism. The procedure involves reshaping the cornea (the clear front part of the eye) to enable light entering the eye to be properly focused onto the retina, which results in clearer vision. LASIK is known for its quick recovery times, with many patients experiencing significant improvements in vision almost immediately after the procedure.
PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy)
PRK is a type of refractive eye surgery similar to LASIK but primarily recommended for patients with thin corneas or other corneal irregularities. During PRK, the outer layer of the cornea is gently removed, and the underlying corneal tissue is reshaped using a laser. This corrects the curvature of the cornea, improving how light rays are focused onto the retina. Recovery from PRK may take a bit longer than LASIK, but it offers an excellent option for individuals not suitable for LASIK.
ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens)
ICL, or Implantable Collamer Lens, is a procedure for those who seek a permanent solution to myopia (nearsightedness) but are not candidates for LASIK or PRK. It involves placing a biocompatible lens between the iris and the natural lens, allowing light to focus correctly on the retina and enhancing vision. ICL is reversible, provides UV protection, and is an ideal option for patients with thin corneas or high levels of myopia.
Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)
Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) is a surgical procedure that replaces the eye’s natural lens with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) to correct vision problems, primarily for individuals with presbyopia or high levels of farsightedness. RLE is similar to cataract surgery but is performed primarily to achieve refractive correction rather than to remove a cloudy lens. This procedure can offer patients freedom from glasses or contact lenses.
